In August 2010 my hubby stumbled across what he thought was a natural spring on the block. He dug a hole and waited to see if it would fill up, it did:

Left like this, the water was muddy so he set up a hose to allow the spring to feed into a trough. The resultant water was clear and pallatable.
The aim is to get the spring to ffed into a tank and have a trough connected to the tank as the spring produces heaps more water than the tank can hold.
