Indulge me while I take you back in time. In 2006 we bought almost 50 acres of 'undulating' hills (read enormous half mountains by Australian standards) in gorgeous South Gippsland. We had searched for land for almost 3 years before we found 'the block'.
After much to-ing and fro-ing with the local council we were granted our building application and work commenced in December 2008 with the excavation for the driveway:
